A brochure available at the Tourisme Rivière-du-Loup office and at the Hôtel de Ville offers two courses: "The Scenic Walk" begins at the Hôtel de Ville (65 Hôtel-de-Ville Blvd.) and introduces you to the secrets of bourgeois life in the 19th century with its impressive public buildings and sumptuous villas. The "City Journey" that begins at the Fraser Manor brings you back to the birth of the village of Fraserville near the seigniorial manor house and the development of the city center, one of the most beautiful in Quebec. You will be impressed by the diversity of architecture that testifies to the prosperity of the city at different times.

You will have the chance to discover the Seigneurial Fraser Manor and its artifacts recounting the history and creation of the city of Rivière-du-Loup.

Indeed, the Lafontaine Public Market resides during the summer in the heart of the former railway junction.
