Bas-Saint-Laurent is known for its significant amount of snow in winter. The region of Rivière-du-Loup offers exceptional sites for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. For nature lovers, there are places (which are not clubs) with beautiful trails and landscapes, including 2 that lend or rent equipment.
The sports chalet, located in the municipality of Notre-Dame-du-Portage, now offers the possibility of renting snowshoes and cross-country skis. In order to reduce the cost for families, there is no charge for children.
